WE ARE TREK

Where Education Meets Real Life

TREK Adventure Club is built on the belief that children learn best through experience — through community, responsibility, movement, and meaningful work.

We design relevant, hands-on programs that support the whole child, nurturing both mind and body while helping kids build confidence, character, and real-world life skills.

By partnering with families, we create a steady rhythm of learning and connection — a place where curiosity is encouraged, relationships matter, and kids are supported as they grow.

This is more than a program.
It’s a community.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, YEAR-ROUND

TREK Adventure Club offers year-round programming designed to support children’s growth across seasons and stages.

Our offerings include summer programs, school break sessions, specialty skill-building experiences, and homeschool enrichment — all rooted in hands-on learning and real-world application.

LIFESKILLS + CHARACTER, BY DESIGN

Through collaboration, leadership opportunities, and focused hands-on learning, children develop practical life skills and strong character.

Each experience is thoughtfully curated to support growth in responsibility, confidence, communication, and problem-solving — not just participation.

MORE THAN FUN

Yes, kids have fun at TREK — but fun is not the finish line.

Our programs are intentionally designed with a full learning framework, ensuring children are building skills, knowledge, and understanding alongside play, exploration, and adventure.

DESIGNED TO GROW

TREK uses a spiral programming model, allowing concepts and skills to deepen over time.

As children grow, our programming grows with them — becoming more challenging, more independent, and more age-appropriate year after year.

THE TREK DIFFERENCE

  • WE DESIGN GOOD DAYS.
Learning is grounded in real life, relationships, and meaningful experiences — not screens or worksheets.
  • WE VALUE RHYTHM OVER RUSH.
Our programs are structured, consistent, and intentionally paced to support children and families long-term.
  • WE BUILD COMMUNITY, NOT TRANSACTIONS.
TREK is membership-based by design, fostering belonging, accountability, and shared ownership.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to enrich our community by empowering youth through hands-on learning, nature-based experiences, and character-building opportunities that foster personal growth and lifelong skills.

We are committed to serving as many children in our community as possible — and as accessibly as possible. Through scholarships and financial assistance, we work to remove barriers so more families can participate in TREK programs each session.

SINGLE SUBJECT OFFERINGS
We operate under a licensing exemption as a single-subject offering program. This means that we structure our program in sessions that emphasize one particular skill, or subject. We are also legally formed as a Colorado Non-profit Neighborhood Youth Organization, which means we are membership based organization.
